The yin-yang similarity parable
-which is more similar: the white dot and the white half, or the white dot and the black dot?
-they may technically be opposites, but they understand each other far more than those that are merely physically similar
The parable of alarms
-if destiny is real, this is how i imagine it. Before we meet our destiny, it is like we are asleep. Though we are asleep, we are “destined” to wake up. Some people wake up naturally. Those are the ones who really accept their destiny. However, if you stay asleep too long, destiny tries to remind you and wake you up itself. In other words, destiny is an alarm clock to life. But just like an alarm clock, we can ignore
– and i think this fact is important for many reasons. 1) it changes the depiction of destiny as strings attached to us, controlling our lives; rather, destiny does nothing directly to us, but will be as annoying as possible until you come to it or die.
The line parable:
-humanity as a whole moving together as a line
-if one part gets stuck, all other parts eventually have to stop
-can lead to a “circle” where the same line ends up circling around and facing itself and thinks it’s on the opposite side of itself
-try to fight its opponent, but ends up hurting self
