Sphere Of Identity/Seft Model

• Autism is more than a spectrum, but rather a 3D sphere in which everyone exists in

• Origin would be “normal” people (aka super boring) very few people are actually here. You’re basically a robot at that point. You have no defing character traits or personality.

• *compare/contrast: eccentricity vs. autism

1. Eccentricity is having a hyper specific interest while still somewhat grounded to the origin. It would look super long, super thin.

2. Autism is a hyper specific interest that acts as it’s own origin. It would look more like a small dot.

*Sudden realization:

The sphere doesn’t represent autism, but identy itself. People’s egos/selves are represented as different portions of the whole sphere. Normal people contain the origin of the sphere, and then grow out. Autism occurs when the part of their ego does not overlap with the origin.

**in reference to me

As we grow older, our portion of the sphere increases. It’s a natural process that happens whether you want to or not. However, it’s possible to take an active role in it. Eventually you’ll reach a point where growth is minimal, so if you want to continue to grow, the active part becomes necessary. Unfortunately, growth hurts, so it’s natural to not want to actively hurt yourself, so people let themselves stop growing.

I don’t want that to happen to me. I’m trying to become the sphere.

Just because I am capable of occupying anywhere in the sphere doesn’t mean I have to occupy it all at one time by myself.

I feel like I have just been given a gift. My world makes sense now. I feel like I just became one person again. The barriers have dissolved.

Spheres of Order

Going even a step of thinking beyond, it’s not really a sphere, but infinite space. The sphere is society, and a lot of social anxiety comes from the fact that the origin of the sphere not only changes on the micro scale based on those around you, but is arbitrarily placed when you think on the macroscale of infinity.
