The synchronization of the time-speeds of objects and how they affect the perception of the passage of time
A person’s internal time-speed
• One possible idea-> anxiety is when someone’s time-speed increases from the not while depression is when it decreases
• Acid may allow us to synchronize our time-speed with a universal/true time-speed (like the average time-speed of the infinite universe). The universe’s time-speed may possibly be either infinitely slow or infinitely fast.
• Weed would slow time-speeds, while Adderall would increase them.
• However, Adderall has a secondary effect that can feel like it’s slowing time-speeds. This is because it allows one to entirely focus on one individual time-speed. This eliminates outside time-speeds that could alter our perception
A more concrete example – > the tempo of music
Wave-like properties of time-speed
• Constructive and destructive interference (fast music makes you want to drive faster while slow music helps you relax and slow down. It heightens the experience [constructive]. But Fast music isn’t good for meditation, and a lullaby isn’t good for a street race [destructive])
The effects of automizing certain tasks with respect to our internal time-speed
