Does Life Have Meaning?

I believe we have both a preordained meaning as well as the ability to surpass that meaning.

At its foundation, the purpose of life is to experience death. Death is our fate, and we cannot defy that fate.

But what makes people amazing is that even though we are destined to die, we are able to create our own meaning of life that supercedes that of fate.

I don’t think meaning can be found, it must be created. Life gives us a purpose – to die – but the universe doesn’t give us meaning beyond our life.

We give it to ourselves.
