Satan, Lucifer, And The Devil

Satan, Lucifer, and the devil are all different beings. They’re just confused for each other.

Satan isn’t evil. He just opposes or challenges God’s absolute will. He may try to lead you away from God, but not necessarily towards evil. We experience Satan when we experience doubt. Satan is a test of our beliefs, and overcoming his challenge of doubt often leads us to an understanding of truths that cannot be found in faith alone.

Lucifer was born from God. He is the part of God that was deemed insufficient and was cast out. Lucifer is the embodiment of God’s shortcomings, and casting him out is God overcoming those shortcomings and growing beyond them.

The devil is what we confuse all three entities as. He is the antithesis to God. He is temptation. If God is good, the devil is evil. If God is the pathway to eternal life, then the devil is the pathway to eternal death. Truth comes from God, and the perversion of truth from the devil. No matter the instant gratification you get from following the devil’s half truths, the final outcome will always be absolute destruction.
