jazz is less a sound 
and more a process 
it’s not what you produce 
but how you produce it 
it's a more honest 
translation of the self 
which is why 
it’s so beautifully messy 
it’s not about being prefect 
it's about being genuine 

because the truth is 
we’re all lost 
in beautiful messes 
but we’re all afraid 
of being the smelly kid 
so we throw away our selfs 
before we’re caught 
digging through our landfill life 

don’t fall to that temptation 
you’ll clean it up one day 
you’ll realize what your 
beautiful mess is supposed to be
