v.1.3
Hiding on the Mayflower as a stowaway
It was smooth sailing until halfway
When I was discovered to my dismay
I cried and plead to let me stay
They threw me overboard anyway
Swimming to America - I lost my way
Floating, in Neptune's bed I lay
I close my eyes and begin to pray
"If only a wave would come," I say
"One I could surf oh~so far away
From this Bermuda triangle bay"
No such wave comes night or day
I stare at unchanging skies of gray
Something catches my eye in May
Captivating - a brilliant Blue Jay
He flies down to tell me I'll be okay
Still don't know what to make of USA
But I trust the birds won't lead me astray
