Philosophers search for
New questions,
Patient answers, and
Honest friends, for
Philosophy searches for
The Truth in a life
To be a life is to experience Truth, yet
To be a life is to hold only a puzzle piece
Philosophers of all ages and eternities
Hope to find every piece to finish the puzzle
But all have failed, for
To be a Philosopher is to be ignorant
Their hands are so full
Of books and quills
They are unable to handle the Truth
Only attempt a fool's errand:
Inscribing infinity instantaneously
So I have put down my caveman tools
I bear Truth's burning burden on my back
No longer the Philosopher
Nor his Poet
I Am: The Sage
I encountered the entirety of eternity's Truth
Irony has its last laugh
Truth for my hands to hold
Not for my ears to be told
Truth placed in ignorant hands is soon replaced
So I'll hold it up high above my head
And show you all a moment longer
Rather than vanishing instantly
It's gone in a blink of third eyes
