To be monstrous doesn't mean 
to meaningly be maliciously mean - 
to be a monster means failing 
to see Empathy's capacity; 
they don't make pain their plan 
to hurt another man, trying so 
hard to care & share, just unaware 
& truly unable to understand 
how their flailing claws & hands 
hurt your mind's psychic stand 

Monthly meetings meeting meat 
monsters mostly make most 
marvelous memories; 
the kindest souls 
you know 'til you 
show them yours 
only to see inside 
their eyes are empty 
& feel nothing for you 
other than false sympathy
