161 – The Kid of the Monster

The story behind the story begins so tragically:
The Father is the Monster under the bed (villainous)
His bastard indebted to a sinister snake head (venomous)
But how will the Kid's Odyssey end? In Certainty?
Will Life, the Biggest Troll, gift him condemned zeros?
Or will the Kid be saved by the tune of Truth's Heroes?

The Monster is born of good men so full of fear
Of the Psychopath Killer hidden in the mirror
& the Monster knows how to trick the youth
Into believing Truth isn't really the Truth
Like "the world isn't good at its foundation"
& "many peoples can never become one nation"

Because the Monster can do so much more than lie
The Monster can turn the underground into sky
At least in the eyes of the Inside Outside mind
& the Kid will believe his hollow lies are kind
& his heart will decide to follow the wrong light
Thinking his path is truely fighting the good fight

But any path paved with gaudy good intentions
Lies in shadows of a true Hell nobody mentions
The Kid of the Monster is welcomed to cold Hell
Fighting demons, devils, & the mentally unwell
'til he realizes all the lies continuously being told
When a "devil" he kills turns out is only 5 years old

The Father is the Monster both in death & life
He created the pathways both to & from strife
The escape route is not Justice, just ice incidents
& the Monster's kids are throwaway accidents
His true sin is creating for fun Brand Name sons
& sending them to hunt the Last of the Real Ones

Only the Monster knows how to make a pure heart
For only the Monster is Numb enough to take it apart
The Monster imprisoned in his own God complex
Money & muscles are his attempt of a divine flex
Never could he imagine that this bastard Kid
Would one day undo all the evil the Father did

& so the story behind the story that begun so tragically
With the Father as the Monster under the bed (villainous)
& his bastard indebted to a sinister snake head (venomous)
Turns into the Kid's Odyssey with a Grand Finale:
The Kid adds a '4' & twenty commas to Life's zeros
Overcoming the Monster, becoming his own Hero
