a scientific lab report is just 
a giant poem being 
graded by 
the most pedantic asshole; 

it's no fun at all, but 
very effective at 
teaching how 
to write down the Truth; 

it cares not for imagery, but 
it demands to hear your 
unique voice - 
plagerism is a scientific sin; 

but there's only so many ways 
to say you filled up 
the beaker to 
about (25±1)mL with H2O; 

what makes a lab report poetic is 
not the words used to write 
the procedure - it's the 
admission of uncertainty that does
