Hostile Neighbors

Stung twice 
By a wasp 
Squatting 
In my backyard post 
Should I have investigated? 
I do not know 
Should I have been stung? 
I do not know; 

It is my house, but 
They think it's their house 
I guess it's both 
But I refuse to live 
Next to neighbors 
Who shoot me 
When I knock on 
Their front door; 

They need their home 
But are too stupid 
To live in peace 
But then again 
I'm too stupid 
To teach them peace, so 
I guess I'm not much better 
Than a wasp when I Am afraid
