Self-Righteous Sight (Believe Without Bias)

I like looking at things 
As if I'm an agnostic, not 
'cause I don't believe, but 
'cause it let's me believe 
Without Bias, and let's me 
Challenge without Malice 

'cause it's oh~so easy to fall 
Into Certainty's trap ~ named 
Hypocrisy ~ when refusing to see 
Someone's doubts & questioning 
As God's chance to prove Eternity 
& to flex a bit of His Infinity 

Rather chosing to transform 
Innocent skepticism into 
An attack from absurdity, so 
Meeting it with a snide sneer 
Like a deer's face full of Fear 
When in actuality, they should 
Be praising & cheering as if they 
Are future friends to hold dear 

For they just opened the door 
& then gave you the floor 
To manifest your holy mission 
Inside Mutual~Consent 
Rather than having to preach 
& screech like some Madman 
Whom no one can ever understand 
& whose song they never can stand 

Although not even I can deny 
They're more often than not 
In the right to ignore holy light 
From Pharisees as hellfire ignites 
When even a Kid's questions 
Are looked down upon as if a Fool 
Full of nothing but foolish fright 
& just looking for a fight ~ from 
Their oh~so Self-Righteous Sight
