 You were too precious to me
 I thought my demons would ruin you 
 Like I thought they were ruining me 

 But now I've missed my chances
 We're together in another world 
 But not this one

 We're heading to the same place
 And I'm happy we'll see each other there
 But I wish we could walk there together 

 My journey to us includes your pain
 And I'm not willing to wish you through any
 So I'll manage my own, and hope you never face the same 

 You were the reason I decided to live again
 You reminded me how good the world is
 For a world with you must be good 

 The dreams of her may have returned
 But they're nothing 
 Compared to my daydreams of you

 It has been so long 
 Since I'd rather be awake, 
 And you're the reason. 

 But now I've learned from what I missed 
 And I won't miss out again 
 Because I don't want to go to sleep again
