I’m glad to be alive now.
This is one of the worst points in history for America, and probably even the world. But even so, I’m glad to be going through it. I’ve never wanted an easy life; rather I’ve always asked for the strength to overcome hardship. And though I have been given more hardship than I expected, I’ve also been given more strength.
Another reason is that it gives me the chance to help create a world worth living in. Not for me, because I doubt I’ll see the end of this chaos. But maybe my children or grandchildren will born into a good and virtuous world. One where power, money, and arrogance are not what drives us. One where love, kindness, and compassion for our fellow man is.
