untitled [4] notes | 4 December 2020 | “why do so many believe?”

If we can’t see the end, why do so many believe it exists?

What is a being? What is a person? Are they the same?

I don’t think so. I think a being is more than a person, or maybe it’s the other way around. Maybe they are unique but equal, and when a person and a being unite, then something greater than the sum of its parts is birthed into reality.

“I desire to be congruent so that I can be what I deeply am”
-On becoming a person chapter 5, ~ -17 minutes

“can I permit him to let him be what he is. Can I give him the feeling ‘to be’”

“Freeing from external threat”

“Confirming the other”

Ok, these are my guesses about the line about

“finding the genuine reality in me so that they can find the genuine reality in them” part

“I like to bring the two worlds together” (I.e. Subjective and objective)

Multiple mentions of “a person as an object” (though focusing on the negative effects of this)

“Can I permit him to let him be what he is. Can I give him the feeling ‘to be’”

“In the process of becoming”
