Improve the world around you the best you can, and hope that others do the same. Hope alone won’t solve this. Only hope backed by action can. Our “leaders” have proved time and time again that they will fail us. We will only make it through this by relying on our own strength.
As long as you hold life in your body, there is always something to fight with. Don’t let them convince you that you are powerless. Oppressors beat us down because they’re afraid of what we can do. They try to convince us we’re nothing because they recognize that we can challenge them.
Look at voting. We were told that our votes never mattered, and so many never even tried. But this election shows that our actions can make a difference. Enough of us came together to stand up to tyranny and incompetence. We did it once, and we’ll do it again.
