Angels & demons? Monsters' names 
Playing their favorite games 

They have their favorite pieces: 
Rooks, bishops, knights, queens, 
Kings & pawns; children to cherish 
& children they let perish 

All the pieces are the same 
In a dark mirror, but 
Angels & demons only favor 
Their favorite color
