• The reason drugs are so enticing is because they let you experience the world like a child does. Your past and future is wiped away for awhile, leaving only the present to experience.
• However, this works both ways. If you focus on a bad experience while on drugs, that singular experience becomes your reality. You have no other past or future, only negatives.
• Our purpose in life is to be human. Our attempts to become gods was our first and everlasting sin.
• That being said, sin isn’t necessarily bad. Sin is just a rejection of ourselves.
• We were made to be human, limited and finite, but our free will makes it possible to defy that.
• A common lie we tell ourselves is that the consequences of our actions is a punishment. In actuality, consequences are just consequences. ‘A’ leads to ‘B’ without consideration of anyone involved.
• A common problem with people is that we rarely stop and ask “why” we do or think certain things. Much of our reality we accept as objective fact is really subjective conjecture.
• The difference between me and most others is that I assume I am at least a little wrong all of the time. I try to disprove every thing I believe, and gladly welcome the help from opposing views. This leaves only the truth behind my statements.
• This is also why I’m quiet. I realize that I’m going to be wrong whenever I speak, so I try to get to the point of truth that I’m not ashamed to bring into the world.
• Falsehoods are many but weak. Truths are few but unbreakable.
• Life is a burden we must all bear. For many the weight is worth it, but it is still a weight on our souls.
• Sober me has control over my surroundings. Under the influence me has control over myself.
