There is a moment 
When a mosquito 
Changes, from 
Annoying to 
Unsettling 
When squishing 
Brings not relief 
But flood öF blood 
Belonging to Me, now 
Realizing exactly how 
öDD violated feeling 
C~ing Me bleed from 
A parasite over there 
Hidden precisely where 
Often Times -it feeds 
Then leaves- only 
For Me to find 
An itchy bump 
Left behind
