When you think of it closely, probability – for the most part – is bullshit. Don’t get me wrong, it can be a useful tool, but whether or not it actually is a useful tool is up to chance. Probability is such a great example of irony.

You should never hope to change the past, for the past is what made who you are today. Take even one second away, and you are a completely different person. Instead, be proud of who you are and love the you of today. If you can’t, then use the you of today to make the ideal you of tomorrow.
Even if there’s something you’re not proud of, you now have another example, another reason, another guide how to live your life to become your ideal. The present cannot change the past, but it will shape the future.
Often times we bring ourselves into other people’s problems…. we all want to be heroes. We want to save those in trouble. However, this tends to make us make us the focus, not the problems.
