Lessons Found N Forgotten Notes

[Context: Searched “lesson” in my Notes app, and decided to make a collection of miscellaneous lessons I’ve probably forgotten (in no particular order). These Notes were written between May 2017 to December 2021]

Finally, I’ve been able to travel across the universe.

This has been a calculated journey. How often do you get your superpowers right before a potential world ending story is entering its second act? So many must hide their entire lives. But maybe they think I’ve already learned my lesson on that.

It doesn’t matter where you learn life’s lessons. Where you experience truth does not change the validity of truth; where you learn the truth will shape your perspective. Just be aware that though the truth is not altered, the expression of that truth is.

The most important lesson he’s taught me is life is about growth. Even when you think you’ve reached the end, if you’re still aware, then there’s still something you haven’t explored or understood. After a long enough time, you start seeing the formulas about the world and everything begins to blend together. But if you remember to slow down and give yourself time to experience the present rather than predicting the future, you’ll find something new you’ve may have skipped over a thousand times in your impatience.

The universe answers every question. We just often don’t understand, or pretend we didn’t hear anything since we didn’t like the answer. Sometimes we’re angry at the answer, for it came from a hard lesson.

• It’s the parents’ job is to try to make the hard lesson they learned growing up easier. However, it’s the kids’ job to ignore the advice and learn the lesson the hard way anyways

We have more control over our reality than we realize. How we respond to what we experiences shape our reality

A person is someone who chooses their response to experience.

Every moment of consciousness is a lesson

A bad relationship is a hard lesson taught in the worst way. It’s a shortcut of thorns to the truth.

If something truly undesirable to life, then nature would have gotten rid of it. If it becomes undesirable, nature will get rid of it, and humanity is experiencing the first implications of that lesson.

• A fundamental misunderstanding of repentence is the thought that punishment and suffering is required to repent. Repentence is about learning a lesson. If you punish yourself and don’t learn a lesson, you haven’t repented. But if you learn a lesson and haven’t punished yourself, then you still have repented. Often times people punish themselves to try to release themselves from guilt, but if you only punish yourself to relieve yourself, then your repentence is disingenuous and self-serving

• We’ve been aware of these problems since history has been recorded. I’m tired of the world relearning the same lessons over and over again. All it does it wait for evil to take hold and then ask for those greater than them to save them from their sin and arrogance.

• So I just had an about idea why people, especially those interested in philosophy, like psychedelics. Thinking about/reading/developing philosophy is kinda like you’re downloading it. It already exists, you’re just becoming aware of it. Taking psychedelics is kinda like installing it. That’s why the world “makes sense” after a trip. You didn’t lie something new, you were just able to apply the lessons you have learned from living. After my trip, I still believe/know the same things, but I felt like I can actually apply my philosophy to my life.

• It’s frustrating to look back at the past and realize the lessons we were being taught but were too stupid to realize that we were being taught.
• Everything we experience is either a lesson, a test, or both. Until we realize that, we’ll keep failing the tests and have to relearn the lessons.

1. Family is the most important thing in the world, and you should protect it at all costs
2. Everyone is your family

• I think my personalities speak to me through music. The reason certain songs catch my attention, and why I’ll listen to the same set of songs for so long, is that I feel something that must be a personality trying to tell me something. Once I stop feeling that unique pull is when I finally understand them. But I often forget the lessons, and that’s why I’ll feel the pull again to go back to old music

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be an NPC. It’s just that it’s never been a life that could hold my mind for long.

I’m happy to see comic book movies on such a massive scale, but it says alot about our world when the kinds of lessons needed to be taught are being shouted at such volumes and they still don’t hear it.

Death is truth’s final lesson of life. It is one truth that cannot be ignored or denied. Even if you deny truth in life, it is impossible to deny the truth of death. It comes whether or not you choose to believe it.
