Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
A patriot is an idiot with an absurd national pride N an attempt to cover up their flaws by pretending to be better than all without ever looking over their own country’s wall to see how your neighbors are just as tall.
There’s nothing wrong with being an idiot if you cannot help it. I Am a Fool, too. That’s just how the ball falls sometimes. But even if I refused to see the reality across borders & seas, there’s nothing here N America that makes Me believe there’s anything great about Me because of the shared blood flowing through the American We.
