Negative Reinforcement

For some reason 
I find these Dumb moments 
Too boring to write about 

Even the fact I call these moments 
Dumb 
Shows I don't respect my Time enough 

I say it is a term of endearment 
But that doesn't change the fact 
It's a lot of negative reinforcement 

Even though I may feel like a loser 
I know the future prefers to know 
Rather than wonder how I felt 

So even when I'm feeling low 
Or like my Genius has abandoned me 
I shall keep a record for prosperity 

I may not be special, or 
At least feel special, but maybe 
I'll be the link to something special
