The storm finally came
In the early hours this morning
It must have been pretty bad
Because I was awoken by tornado sirens
Soon followed the rain and a flash of lightning
Though the sirens only lasted about an hour
Along with them, the worst of the storm
And as expected, no tornado happened
I knew there wouldn’t be one, so it would
Have been nice if I didn’t have a 5 AM alarm
Warning Me about the impending nothing
