& with his attitude like this – it
Explains SORRY’s solitude as if I Am
Singling him out like Blue’s Clues – or
Like playing CLUEDO all by my self, so now
Becoming Yellow as Colonel Mustard, flustered
By Me having mustered up enough courage to claim
His name – obviously – be the guilty one for this game
After finding the candlestick caved in Professor Plum’s brain
His gray matter splattered over the Hall’s wall like Pollock’s frame
Moonwashed Weekly Prompt – Solitude

Delightful and brilliantly written piece. I remember playing this game as a child. We call it Clue here in the US.

Thank you! And I grew up calling it clue, too, but for some reason, I chose the British version. Probably because I used “Blue’s Clues” earlier and didn’t want to repeat a word, so I cheated a bit. Either that, or I needed a longer word to fill the line.
