What gives you direction in life?

I don’t really have direction.

Sure – I’m moving, but I’m walking blind. For all I know, I could be walking in circles.

The closest thing I have to a compass would be my music. I’m pushed & pulled by the groove. It’s like a magnet guiding me to nowhere in particular.

And I guess there’s my writing, too. It tells me where I come from & who I’ve been. So, using that information to reflect, I can turn around and map-out where I’m heading. Even if it’s only my next step.

It’s not much, but it’s my match in the dark. And hey, it’s better than nothing. Beggars can’t be choosers, so c’est la vie & c’est comme ça.
