Dio’s Diary (14)
Ancient Greece mythology – the world that exists around my mind
Christianity – the world that exists around my body
——
• Greek mythology – birth/awakening of the divine mind -> humans steal a piece of divinity and play gods of their own new domain
• Judaism – consequences of those actions -> a humbling fall from grace -> a separation from the divine and all that comes with it
• Egyptian mythology – death -> a return to the divine realm to receive our soul’s final judgments
• Buddhism – reincarnation of self -> (based on repeating the cycle -> drawing another circle
• Christianity -> not reincarnation, but resurrection -> you don’t start over with a new name; you continue your path with a clean slate -> debts atoned and scales are balanced. Our scars are gone, but not our stories
• What comes next? It depends:
• Most people become sheep; they follow those who become Shepherds. The Shepherds keep them safe, but often they fall asleep as they count their sheep. When they wake up they have the same name, but a different face and a different flock. What does it mean? Is it a dream?
