Thoughts | 10 February 2020

• The problem with the world is half the people act without thinking, and the other half think without acting.
• Just because you’re right doesn’t mean you’re not part of the problem.
• The difference between good and evil is that good gives you a choice while evil does not.
• I guess I feel guilty because I’m waiting for the world to be destroyed so that I can pick up the pieces rather than trying to save it.
• How can something finite contain infinity? How was God able to trap himself in us?
• The best thing you can give someone is a good memory
• I travel between heaven, hell, and purgatory more often than most
• Humanity transcends reality
• Feigning ignorance and abusing the system should be a crime. Unfortunately it’s only a crime when you don’t have money.
• Ads aren’t bad. Souless ads made to trick consumers or make them feel like a lesser person for not having their product are.
• Your feelings are never wrong, but often times your interpretation of your feelings is.
• Companies shouldn’t take a stance on morality because their morality stems from money. The more money you have, the more correct you are.
• Humans are in constant conflict, because we are neither animals or gods. We’re somehow both. So much inner turmoil comes from the struggle of both sides.
• Some autistic traits need to be mitigated to form a stable society. But if everyone is completely sterilized from these traits, then progress ends.
• A big problem with the world is that we don’t take the time to teach when someone makes a mistake. We punish them and then set them up to fail again by not fixing the problem.
• Meditation is about submitting yourself to the will of the universe.
• The world is too safe now. We’ve forgotten how to take calculated risks and how to learn from mistakes
• I don’t know if God has feelings. Maybe that’s what sets us apart from him.
• There’s both positive and negative misery. One drives you forward while the other chains you down.
• It’s ironic how many people who proudly identify as atheists have turned science into a religion in the sense that they believe science is infallible. I’m not saying this about all atheists, just the ones who think they’re superior in believing in something they can’t prove (i.e. whether or not God exists).
• Even if it’s accidental, everything is art.
• I’m tired of meaningless debates of egos. I prefer debates of truth.
• We won’t be able to treat mental health until we look at it like physical health
• The preservation of life is important, but the stasis of life leads to a fate worse than death
• Anyone who claims anything with absolute certainty is a fool.
• Faith isn’t about believing something you can’t see. It’s about believing in something you can’t see yet.
• Religion isn’t the problem. The problem is when religion steps out of its bounds.
