I have this light projector
That I lost the remote to
So I can’t turn on anymore
Yet I still leave it plugged in
Since sometimes it randomly turns on
& because I don’t know how or why
I tell myself that whenever it’s on
I’m being visited by a ghost of a friend
…
For some reason
It stopped working completely
It hadn’t turned on for a few months
I didn’t know if it was broken or if
My ghost friend just wasn’t coming back
But that was back at my old house
As I recently moved into an apartment &
In the move, my light projector ended up here
So I decided to plug it in – & to my surprise!
It turned on later that night – not every night
But every couple of nights it turns back on, so
Now I still don’t know why or how it works
Yet I’m happy to have it working again
Since t might sound silly, but
It feels like I have a friend again
