Vague Uncertainty

The past couple of days

Have had a gray haze

Hanging over my head

Both literally

& metaphorically

As the overcast skies

Reflecting my unfocused eyes

Reflect that vague uncertainty

That are cast over my thoughts

Like a mysterious monster in the mist

Hiding anxieties behind a screen of nothing

Wondering about what I’m wondering about

Because even my curiosity is full of doubt
