Of red, yellow, & blue
So after last time
I joked to myself

They have green or purple

Beyond the new colors
Something else that’s different
About today compared to normally
Is that I decided to come in at 10:30
Rather than my usual 8:00 AM
Not for any particular reason
I just wanted to move slower this morning
That being said
Tuesdays seem to be a busy day here
Even when I do come here at 8
It’s still a far longer wait
Than when I come back later in the week
So, I was expecting my wait to be
Even longer since it was later in the day
Which turned out to be pretty accurate
As most of the lobby was filled up
Sitting while aiting in the check-in queue
I was number #64
Though, I think that was counting
From the beginning of the day
As though there were a lot of people
Compared to who I normally see
There were probably only about 10-15
Either way
It’s been a pretty long wait
It’s 11:38 as I write this line
& they’re just now
Getting the machine ready
As I’m still waiting for my IV
