I don’t really have much to say

I’m kinda in a bad mood

Because my 20 minute drive

Took 40 minutes

Because for some reason

A little bit of fog

Convinces everyone

That the roads are made of ice

So instead driving safely

By giving just a little bit

Of extra room to see

What the fog is hiding

They stop every 5ft

Since if we’re being honest

I don’t need to see 100ft in front of me

To know to stop before hitting the next car

…

I’m just not feeling great today

I feel a little nauseous

& I’m a bit dehydrated

So I probably shouldn’t be donating

But I need the money

& I’m gonna feel like crap either way

So I might as well get paid

…

One benefit

Of being slightly dehydrated

Is that the amount I have to donate

Is significantly lower than usual

So at least I’ll get through this

Quicker than I normally do

…

One thing I’ll say

Is donating puts me in a good mood

Once I’ve gotten through all the bullshit

& finally have time to sit down & sit back

Since I don’t really get much social interaction

Just being around people helps energize me

Plus, my body feels refurbished or refreshed

By having my blood cycle out & back in again

I know it’s not what’s really happening

But whenever I get done donating

It feels like my blood is cleaner
