The last few days have been
Simply put – good, though
In ways that don’t always seem clear
But my mood has improved
My outlook, much more positive
Today has felt more normal
But the last couple of days
I’ve had worthwhile experiences
That don’t seem worthwhile
From the outside, since
From the outside
It looked like I was doing
The exact same, yet
What I was experiencing
From my perspective
Crystal clear then, though
Foggy now
Which is why I’m writing this poem
To remember
As the foggyness grows
Is that I experienced something
That I won’t explain
Yet I will describe as
Making it easy to remember
Just exactly why I’ve gone
