They do things for stupid reasons

But they’re self-aware enough

Sometimes

To realize how silly they sound

When they say they voted

For their favorite color

So they invent little stories

To try & convince people

That they’re actually clever

When in reality

We already know

Humans are dumb

So in reality

They’re just trying

To trick themselves
