I don’t really believe
Anything is inherently a sin
Sure, there are some things
As a collection of people
Forming a community
Into a society
Have agreed upon are bad
But that’s the thing
We agreed upon it
We saw the effects of those actions
And decided that we, as a collective
Would regret these actions
Regardless of who commits them
So in order to classify these actions
We designated them as “Crime”
Society’s version of Sin
…
So what am I really trying to get here?
I have a problem with Christians
Really any religious person, though
I grew up around a lot of hypocritical Christians
So they normally take the brunt of my grievances
Though, back to my problem – my problem is
They think that signing their covenant with God
Demands the whole world follow their contract
So they project their sin on to those
Who don’t have that arrangement
…
One clear example
Of Christian hypocrisy
Is their insistence the 1 God
Demands monogamous relationships
Claiming any other expression of Love
Goes against the very being of God
& then go on to teach about
How great a man of God
King David – the man
With many wives & concubines
Who still decided to send a man to die in war
Just so he could fuck his wife while “serving God”
