“That’s Not Funny”

I think the most obnoxious thing

Is when someone announces

“That’s not funny”

Like, if it’s not funny

Then people won’t laugh

We don’t need you to act like

A live studio audience cue card

To tell us when & when not to laugh

…

All that saying

“That’s not funny”

Is really saying

“Stop enjoying things that don’t make me happy”

No one is telling you to laugh

So don’t tell me not to
