They’re pretty backed up today
I had a 12:30 appointment
& I didn’t get called to check in ’til 12:59
After the about 5 minute check in
Where they take your weight, blood pressure, etc.
There was still another wait just to get to a bed
About 5 or so people in front of me
Which luckily didn’t last too long
As I got to a bed by 1:19, but now
I’m waiting again to get pricked
So I can actually start donating
So, if I’m lucky & being in the next 10 minutes
I’ll only have waited an hour since my scheduled time
Where I’ll get out of here after another hour
But only if I’m lucky & they don’t
Make me wait to be unhooked
