Half-Life Singularity

If I had to define a “reason” for Art

Is to capture aspects of reality

That are often missed in the moment

Art is a reflection of Life

Not an imitation

Running with this logic

Let’s take a look at Art behemoths

& what their manifestation in our reality means

We can turn to paintings, music, cinema, whatever

But for this example, I’m using video games

Three video games, in particular

Infamous in their anticipation of the next release

Those being: The Elder Scrolls (VI), GTA (6), & Half-Life (3)

If I had to describe the gods of gaming

I would say they would be found in these games

& there’s something interesting I just noticed

How both “TES” & “GTA” are on their 6th installment

Yet, fittingly, “Half-Life” is still waiting for 3

But before I get too side-tracked

What I wanted to poorly explain, quickly

Since it’s an interesting idea that’s half-baked

Is the idea how these pieces of art

Reflect massive changes in our reality

And that, their release goes beyond

Whatever timetable it is to make a game

As I believe, these games mark

Moments of singularity

Where our very reality is changed

& these works of art

Become unconscious markers

In the fundamental growth in being
