Heaven & Hell
Are merely a state of mind
Once you find your self in either
You aren’t there forever
No matter what Fools try to claim
Merely an eternity
Which Fools confuse for forever
As an eternity isn’t a set of time
Nor is it endless
It, too, is a state of mind
It’s the moment you reach
When you cannot remember
Anything other than the moment
When you forget something exists
Outside of Heaven or Hell
Of Now
Then you are experiencing Eternity
& so, you may find your self
In a seemingly endless Paradise
Or a Darkness so deep
Light ceases to be a memory
Yet, if you forget where you are
You’re free to explore beyond Eternity
Heaven & Hell are both forgotten again
& I find my self wandering in between
Searching for what I never dreamed
