Atheism isn’t the absence of religion, rather, itself is a religion. It’s answering the question of God, “Who?” with “No.” Still, the denial of God is in itself an acknowledgement of Faith. There is no proof God doesn’t exist, an atheist has just chosen to believe there’s nothing outside of their experience. And what’s especially funny to me is how atheists don’t see how they turned Science into a religion by confusing theory & fact.
That’s why I like the phrase “Religion is dumb,” because it is – all of it, including atheism. Having a religion inherently means you don’t know, so need to have a story to figure out how to live your own life. Someone who isn’t dumb doesn’t question, just does – because they already know how to be human, since they are one. They don’t need any form of God, nor the imaginary sense of control left in its absence – they merely know:
