Random Thought #71: Talos’ Toys

I think the most impactful message buried beneath the surface of Toy Story is that magical & supernatural things could actually be real. Sure, it’s a nice story to imagine what toys do when you’re not in the room. But if you think about it, what if they really could move, and they just weren’t allowed to tell you? Grown-ups will tell me that’s dumb, or worse, insane. The kid in me knows they just don’t want to ask the question where the answer could flip their entire world perspective upside-down.
