The funniest thing about the whole “Trump x Epstein” thing is that I think Trump actually believed Epstein was his only genuine friend, and now he feels deeply betrayed. That even though he knew Epstein had dirt on everyone in the game, that for some reason Epstein wouldn’t implicate him in any way if it all went south. That’s one of the only ways I can imagine Trump campaigning on releasing the files – if he truly thought he was exempt from Epstein’s blackmail.
