Most judgement is self-projection. If you don’t explain yourself to the other person, everything they imagine about you is just that: imaginary. They don’t know you, so they can only take their own life for example. They can judge your actions, but it’s only based on why they would do those actions, not on why you do your actions. If they see a bad person when you’re just trying to survive, it’s probably because they see a bad person whenever they look in their mirror, so they see bad people everywhere.
