Random Thought #134: Magnae Agriculae (Great Farmers)

I find it funny that Red food dye has pretty much always been cancerous. The reason “Blue Raspberry” is a flavor is because even back then the Red dye they used (Red No.2) was controversial. Now, Red 40 is on its way out, if it’s not already been banned in America [just checked, nope, America still sucks].

Any place in the actual civilized world actually banned all the carcinogens that America raises our children on. Remember when good & strong boys were called “corn-fed”? Sure, there’s a little bit of “Animal Farm” vibes in there, but there’s also some Truth. Agriculture is what defines modern humanity. Tech is trying to become what defines humanity, but all it’s doing is creating cyborgs. Without agriculture, we would never have settled. We would have never have found out what “Home” means. Always following the food, a servant to circumstances.

And yet, the Farmer, who is the Father of modern society, is looked down upon. Our corn-fed children are called “simple” by those trying to be nice; stupid by those who admit their true perspective. Yet, farmers who are the genius that have fueled the explosion of human society are the only ones who will survive when all the visionless structures built upon our firm foundation of farming come crashing down.
