People complaining about “fraud” in connection to SNAP benefits need to realize that poor people aren’t smart enough to commit fraud and get away with it. If, and I mean if (it’s entirely possible it’s a complete lie), there is any actual fraud happening in connection to SNAP benefits, it’s being committed by the intermediary government agencies who are supposed to be responsible for getting the money into the hands of the proper people in need.
The government are literally the ones committing fraud, then using their own fraud they committed as evidence to end the SNAP benefits for the people who actually need them to survive, since they realized that they’ll get even more money if they don’t even have to pretend they’re trying to help the people they’re meant to be representing.
