I don’t think AI art is inherently bad. Something, something, the bad craftsman blames his tools. But that’s really what’s happening. Artificial Intelligence makes it easy to produce art that bypasses barriers of entry called skill & practice. So even though AI art can technically look very professional in terms of the image produced, the vision that inspired that image is still that of an amateur, and it shows with how much slop is sent through the system.

You probably don’t recognize AI art is “good.” Even moreso, you’d probably feel embarrassed that you were “tricked” into liking it.

Hating AI doesn’t mean you love Art. Lying about your feelings with whatever Art you experience shows you don’t really understand Art enough to truly Love iT.
