Random Thought #191: A Crack-Head Flips Mii The Bird

I think people confuse the purpose of religion. I know I’ve written about this before in a more conceptual form, but this is a more öF an actual example. The point I’m talking about is that being a “Good person” is really only towards the benefit of the individual, not God; only really believing in God, whatever that means to the individual, is important.

Being a “Good person” is more a way to guide someone towards a life that they are likely to consider good. But God doesn’t need you to have a good life to serve God’s purpose. Some of the most significant messengers of God have been some of the worst people you can imagine. Like this crack-head who hung out at my gas station I work at for a couple hours, during which she randomly flipped me the bird for no reason before getting kicked out for blatantly stealing from us.

She sucked, but she definitely serves God…
