I think one reason people have annoyance towards the “Woke” crowd (which is basically a masterbatury evolution of the phrase “politically correct”) is the veiled hypocrisy from the fact that it’s really easy to claim “slavery is bad,” when you’ve never been given the opportunity to own a slave. You’re giving up nothing by saying it, yet you believe you should be praised for it. It’s a pseudo-sacrifice, at best. Just because you pretend to believe slavery shouldn’t be a thing doesn’t mean you’re not still racist towards the beings you’re supposedly “helping.” Being “Woke” is less about helping those still asleep “Wake” up to the problems we need to address, and more about saying “look at Me! I can C!”

1 silver lining from A.I. becoming more integrated in society is the fact that it’s exposing how many “Woke” individuals are actually fine with being cruel to those they don’t view as human. Such awful things said with self-righteous confidence.
