My new conspiracy theory as to why the Trump administration decided to “release” the Epstein Files even though so many of them were implicated, including Trump himself, is to act as an open threat to the rest of the world. That at any moment, they can unredact everything; it’s an international political nuke:
“If you try to stop us, we’ll expose all of you. If we’re going down, we’re taking the world as we know it with us.”
